STEP 1 - DECIDE WHERE TO POSITION THE GOAL
The shaded box on the floor is the grass area you will need for the goal. Space is needed behind the goal to protect the fence.
MAXIMUM 8.3m wide x 2.0m deep; MINIMUM 5.3m wide x 2.0m deep; Space behind saves the fence.
(Rest of step 1 not included here)
STEP 2 - MARK OUT THE LOCATIONS for the pole sockets and guy rope spiral anchors. DO NOT INSERT YET.
View LOOKING DOWN from on top
A – Mark out shaded box on the floor described in step 1 using 4 plastic pegs (min 5.3m – max 8.3m wide, 2.0m deep)
B – Position 2 Pole Sockets 75cm in from front corners of box. Check – sockets should be min 3.75m - max 6.75m apart.
C – Position 4 Guy Rope Spiral Anchors 75cm in front and behind front corners of box.
If your garden is wide enough; feel free to move spirals C further away from B (eg. extra 50cm). This will strengthen anchor.
STEP 6 - MARK THE POSITION OF THE GOALPOSTS
Use the Topwire Bungee to mark a perfectly straight line between the poles. Temporarily tie to one end and pull straight
Position 2 of the Pegs in the places where you would like the goalposts.
GOAL PEGS ALWAYS 2.75m APART. SIDE NET - MAX 2.0m, MIN 0.5m EACH SIDE.
