Fit & Installation
Open Goaaal® needs a rectangle of flat, firm grass to set up safely. The shaded diagrams show the space required for each size.
It cannot be installed on soil borders, gravel, sand, turf, or concrete - once it’s in grass, you’re good to go!
Junior Size
Dimensions:
- Goal size: 1.4m tall x 2.4m wide (4.5ft tall x 8ft wide)
- Rebounder size: 2.4m tall x 4.8m wide (8ft tall × 16ft wide)
Space Required
- Requires a flat grass area at least 6.4m wide x 1.6m deep (21 ft 6" wide x 6 ft 2" deep).
- A small space behind the football goal is needed to allow missed shots to be safely stopped by the soccer rebound net.
Standard Size
Dimensions:
- Goal size: 1.6m tall x 2.7m wide (5ft tall x 9ft wide)
- Rebounder size: 3m tall, adjustable to 6.6m wide (10 ft tall, adjustable to 21 ft wide)
Space Required
- Requires a flat grass area at least 8.2m wide x 2m deep (27 ft 9" wide x 6 ft 9" deep)
- A small space behind the football goal is needed to allow missed shots to be safely stopped by the soccer rebound net.
Large Size
Dimensions:
- Goal size: 2.1m tall x 4.8m wide (7ft tall x 16ft wide)
- Rebounder size: 3m tall, adjustable to 8.7m wide (10 ft tall, adjustable to 29 ft wide)
Space Required
- Requires a flat grass area at least 10m wide x 2.3m deep (35 ft 9" wide x 7 ft 3" deep)
- A small space behind the football goal is needed to allow missed shots to be safely stopped by the soccer rebound net.
Regulation Size
Dimensions (FIFA Regulation Size):
- Goal size: 2.4m tall x 7.3m wide (8ft tall x 24ft wide)
- Rebounder size: 4m tall x 11.3m wide (13ft 3" tall × 37ft wide)

- Requires a flat grass area at least 2.3m deep x 10m wide (7 ft 3" deep x 35 ft 9" wide)
